CHATEAU BOUTISSE, A STORY WITH A LONG HISTORY
The estate has survived the centuries, with stone work and viticulture. In 1783, Pierre Belleyme, the king’s geographer engineer, noted the presence of Château Boutisse on his map of Guyenne.
The village of Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes dates back to ancient times; the "bards" were religious Christians, formerly called Druids, who had settled in the area and organized and animated social life.Suite
A VINEYARD WITH XAVIER MILHADE’S SIGNATURE
Since he bought the property in 1996, Xavier Milhade has made all efforts to ensure its longevity. His children, Marc and Elodie, continue to develop sales and quality while respecting the family’s traditional values.
The efforts made these past several years have positioned Château Boutisse among the best Saint-Emilion Grand Cru wines.Retour
